ROB LAY
Founder and Principal
Rob has accrued a wealth of technical knowledge and experience during his 17 year career, operating across all commercial sectors and providing the full range of Building Surveying services.
Initially working for a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy within London and the wider South East region, attaining a Directorship; Rob then gained valuable client-side experience and commercial acumen at a major national retailer, managing and directly negotiating on a substantial dilapidations portfolio with a total maximum claim value in excess of £30m.
Having relocated to Cornwall, Rob identified a gap in the market for a for a highly commercial yet technically adroit Building Surveying firm which could operate on a sustainable basis to provide tangible social and environmental benefits for the area.
When not working Rob enjoys surfing, walking the dog, listening to an eclectic mix of music and spending time with his family.
